Important Information

Due to the recent changes in the way the UK drivers licence now works, in order to hire a van from us, it is now essential that you obtain a unique code which relates to your individual licence from the Government’s website.

This code can be obtained by clicking on the link below and following the steps outlined on the website.

Once you have the code, please bring it along with you as this is now the only way for us to check your drivers licence.

Please Note – Once you have obtained your code, it will only be valid for 21 days. Once this time period has expired, you will need to obtain a new one.

Van Hire Permits

If you are planning to use your van to clear away any unwanted items which may be Surrey County Councilsuitable for re-cycling, it is important to note that you will need a permit to visit any of the Surrey recycling centres with a van, pick-up or a trailer.

Congestion Charge

If you are planning to take the van into London, you may have to pay the congestionCongestion Charge charge.

The Congestion Charge is an £11.50 daily charge for driving a vehicle within the charging zone between 07:00 and 18:00, Monday to Friday. The easiest way to pay the charge is by registering for Congestion Charge Auto Pay.
